Hey, hey, hey!

Hello everyone!

It’s time for another blog update!

One-shot of the day has returned and there’s a lot of things to go over so let’s begin!

WEBSITE UPDATES

I have fixed many things about the Shrine Pages!

There was so much wrong with the css and html pages: Broken mobile layout, images too big, many mistakes on the css itself.

They were made over a year ago, and this was the very first time I noticed a difference between the past me and future me in coding. The early version of the website really was held by glue and tape huh…

Point is, everything is fixed!

Unrelated doodle, modern Pudd paper doll

With the css and html fixed: I finally made the Sakurako Shrine!

Yes! After over 6-8 months of catching dust, it has finally been made!

Sakurako is such a funny and lovable character, click here to check out!

Blessed skrunkle.

I have also added the Missing Dream of the Diary.

It's a pretty strange dream about chasing duendes at night… kinda sounds funny actually.

Aside from that, I have also added the dates I had the dream, so I can keep track of them myself. The first have “??” because they happened before I was keeping track of them.

You can read the dream diary here: I'm here!

And last for the website updates: I Made a Doodle!

I shared a thought with Miya the other day of doodling Pudd as a melusine from Genshin Impact. I gave up on the idea 3 seconds later but Miya persisted, telling me to do it…

So now I present you Melusine Pudd:

She is a menace to the village.

I tried to incorporate much of the design from Melusines while still maintaining the Pudd outfit. In my opinion, it went very well, and coming up with the design was surprisingly fun.

You can thank Miya for this monster!

And that concludes all the website updates!

I managed to do everything after all!

ONE-SHOT OF THE DAY

Talking Fried Shrimp

One-shot made by Dono Michi Kodoku.

Synopsis: Ebi, a very talkative shrimp, is ready to step on the scary outside world again to search to hopefully find a new family, just like the one he had before his parents passed away. But he’s immediately captured by a girl named Emi and she takes him home…

Art and presentation: As the title of the one-shot implies, this is a very silly one. The art reflects on that nonsense with a cutesy but also silly style, that can be surprisingly effective in moments of intense emotions and drama. Very well made!

Why you should read it: Despite being a very silly premise, this one-shot can actually get emotional. Ebi comes from a family that doesn’t exist anymore and tries to live with a family that is slightly troubled as well, and through the connection of Ebi and Emi, a beautiful story about the love for your family is told.

Score: 4/5! Fun, silly and a good read!

LIFE UPDATES

A lot of small things to cover here, let's get the ball rolling!

I finished exploring the New Regions in Genshin Impact!

It was more of the same chill and fun underwater exploration, to be expected of the Nation of Waters, the local legends enemies were very tough though.

Check out this creepy bug I got when taking a photo:

This is kinda creepy…

For the gambling side, I spent 10 rolls on the Furina banner to get Charlotte, but I'm going to save the rest for Navia's Banner!

I really want to get Furina but I'll get her in a future rerun, she's more likely to get one than Navia after all, Claymore + Geo element is a very unpopular combination…

Good place to read the news.

Next up, I have been spending a lot of my days playing Modded Risk of Rain 2.

Most of my time these past days were playing more of that, until recently at least.

It’s just a fun game to play to pass time!

I added a few more mods and me and my friend have a blast every time. It’s also the perfect game to play while watching a youtube video.

I almost died after my friend perished!

Talking about youtube videos (good segue right?): I watched the Down the Rabbit Hole: Eve Online.

After 2+ years of waiting, we finally have it!

A almost 6 hour documentary recounting the history of the MMO called Eve Online. I could talk about it, but Fredrik Knudsen explained way better than what I can ever hope to accomplish here, so go watch the video. It's a well put together video!

Next up, I would like to talk briefly about the Super Mario RPG Remake!

I haven't played it myself yet.

No, no, no, What I want to talk about is the great reception it has gotten!

As you may or may not know, the original game was one the few first RPGs I ever played, and I have heavy nostalgia for it!

Seeing this remake be a very good one and having a great reception really warmed my heart, this game means so much to me, and seeing people playing it while having a blast is amazing!

One day I'll play the remake to revisit these old memories in a new light~~

Blessed Dance.

Next up, a maybe surprising development: I watched the Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off Anime!

I'm not a complete stranger to this series, I have heard about Scott Pilgrim many times during my many years on the internet, and even learned a couple things through cultural osmosis.

I heard about this anime when it was released and thought of watching it, and after some urging from a friend, I decided to watch it recently.

What did I think of it? I think it's a great show to watch!

It's very well animated, it has style, the characters are amazing, and it's unbelievably funny!

Dare I say, one of the best I watched this year. This show made me wanna read the original comics, which I intend to do soon!

Go watch it if you haven't watched the anime!

Here's a comment I had about it while watching:

It’s really true.

Did you see that? I have a new Custom Discord Theme!

I used a template to make my own, I call it Puddcord, because of her bunny hairpin right in the middle!

Puddcord in action.

Also yes, I am a fan of the server bar being at the top, fight me about it!

I used Vencord to mod my discord, in case you want to know.

Recently a new MvM Community Event for Team Fortress 2 was announced!

It's just 9 missions this time, but they are very hard. A great challenge, with a new difficulty called “Master”!

I have only played 2 missions to completion and a bit of the Master one. As expected, it has been a tough challenge, I couldn't even get past the first wave of the Master difficulty, it was very brutal!

Matryoshka doll tanks!

I also have this cool clip I forgot to share with a long time ago, it's basically me doing a cool play to save my buildings while dying in the process.

This will be in my sick gameplay montage.

The song is not part of the game, I was just vibing while gaming!

And now for the final topic: Lethal Company!

Me and my friends played this game recently, and oh man, this game is freaking hilarious!

You need to gather resources to make money on an alien planet with monsters, communication is key to survive, because you are defenseless against the monsters.

Despite being a horror game by nature, it's one of the funniest games I have ever played!

If you have a group of friends, get them to play this game, it's an absolute blast!

I need to play more as well.

Profitable day!

That concludes everything!

SONG OF THE DAY

You know there was no choice in songs I could make for this segment. There was only one option that would fit this exact blog post.

The song of the day is MATORYOSHKA by Kenshi Yonezu.

Ever since the day I heard this song in Project Sekai, I have been enjoying this absolute bop!

And that's everything for this month and update!

This month wasn't as slow as I originally thought, everything still went quite fast.

Next month will be a very busy month for my work as well, I hope everything goes well… I’m sure it will, but this will affect the blog updates… Maybe. I’ll try my best to keep up!

Thank you for reading!

See you next time traveler!

Have a nice day!

15/11/2023

Greeting everyone!

The time has arrived for another update to the blog!

There's a few things to go over, but before we begin, I would like to correct something in the last update!

In the FNaF: Security Breach section, I mentioned that I had recorded my previous thoughts on the game in an earlier update.

That was false! I don't know what mental gymnastics my brain went through to come up with that. The website didn't even exist when I first played, so there is no record of my first time experiencing it.

But if I had to say, altho buggy, my first experience with that game was fairly positive.

Anyhow, time for the blog update!

WEBSITE UPDATES

I'm yet to add the Missing Things to the Website. Mostly out of laziness to be brutally honest.

I did add A New Dream to the Dream Diary Page, and update a few things here and there.

About the dream however, it was a pretty interesting one in my opinion, despite painting me in a rather… dumb light… LMAO

The Poltergeist Haunting this Website has been dealt with as well, you may no longer see her again for quite some time.

What's that?

I was 5 days late on her execution?

Nonsense, I wasn't procrastinating and being lazy, I would never do that hahahaha…

You know me, I do nothing for the first half of the month and proceed to overwork myself in the second half, it's normal Pudding behavior.

Regardless, expect the missing things to be added until the next blog update arrives.

Let's move on to art now!

I made 3D art again! That's right, lighting struck in the same place twice!

I used My Miku Paint to do it, and I made a little Miku Pudd!

Look at her:

She is being silly.

I showed to Miya and they it was kinda creepy so I made this as a response:

Don't call Pudd at 3 AM.

You can mess around with the model yourself but Clicking Here!

I Also Made Fan Art!

I was held at gunpoint once again and forced to doodle another OC for another friend.

Her name is Chizuru and here's her design:

Art made by Artio.

Here's what I made with that as a basis:

My doodles are lacking to say the least.

If you compare the two, there's an obvious disparity in skill, and I find that comical.

And lastly but certainly not least, we got Phoenix Club Fan art!

Chie made by Artio!

Make sure to check Artio's website, they make amazing art and I'm very happy and honored to get an art from them!

It looks so good!

That's all for the website updates! On to the next topi-

ONE-SHOT OF THE DAY

There's no one-shot today, I spent most of my time making another writing piece that I will mention later on the life update.

If you would like to know what that is…

It's called Furina de Fontaine!

You can click that link or click the link on the left side below the current month!

One-shot of the day will resume in the next blog update.

Moving on!

LIFE UPDATES

With the FNaF journey finished, I decided to do less things this month!

A calm and not crazy month unlike the previous.

I have been spending most of my time watching youtube and playing modded Risk of Rain 2 with a friend.

This game I definitely mentioned in past blog updates, it's a fun 3D Roguelike shooter, it has many crazy things going for it, but the main thing that makes it stand out is: It's very skill based.

If you can perform dodge wells and have game sense, you will win all the time despite the RNG!

Adding mods to the mix makes it even more crazier!

Is this classified as rain?

There's not much to say other than this game is super fun.

We put 68 mods on it and had a blast, I even got a clip to share:

The Taunt Incident

For some reason the recording didn't capture my mic, but we died because my friend was testing the taunt mod we installed. It so happened that one of the taunts his character had was… an explosion that killed the player and everyone around him… including friends!

Aside from that, the only other thing I did was play the Final Act of the Archon Quest from Genshin Impact!

There's a lot to be said about it, but I'll give no spoilers, instead I share my feelings about:

It was simply a masterpiece of storytelling.

All the characters were, the revelations were insane, there's a lot of compelling stories tying together, the music was incredible, the animation was a delight… Everything was amazing.

Everything from Act 1 to the final act.

I liked it so much that I even wrote a whole essay about one of the characters:

Furina de Fontaine

In that extra, you can hear my spoiler filled reaction and feelings towards the entire quest as a whole!

It's long but I tried to make it engaging!

TL;DR: The Archon Quest was a masterpiece that left me in many tears.

The Trial of the Archon.

Aside from that, exploration has been fun as usual, and I was unable to get out of gacha hell!

In both Genshin and Star Rail, I wasn't able to get everything I wanted…

Unfortunately but life moves on, now I'm back into saving my rolls for the next upcoming banners.

Navia for Genshin and Argenti for Star Rail.

Unrelated Image of a few friends I met.

I also got 1000 achivos!

But I forgot to take an screenshot when it happened, so I have 1001 instead:

A LOT OF ACHIVOS!

Something else I did is rebuild a paper doll Pudd.

For those who don't know, Miya a long time ago made a paper doll Pudd and I built it.

She stayed on my desk at home until last month…

Tragedy struck and she was attacked by water, killing her in the process…

But it was good because her new successor has arrived:

Pudd the Second.

She remains in the same place where the previous one died.

For those asking why she is different from her current doodles, it's because it's an old design of hers.

As for the quality of the papercraft, that's my fault, I'm not the best with this kind of stuff…

And lastly but not least, I played the first day of World Last Deck!

I got the honor to play the first day of the most anticipated game of the year: World Last Deck, made by Miya.

It was a short, fun demo that I want to play more about. The most fun part however was seeing Miya's OCs being drawn and coming to life in this game.

They are so talented at art and it's such a blast seeing these characters move!

Can't wait to see more!

The funny close up.

And that concludes this section!

SONG OF THE DAY

The music of the day is Dream Place by More More Jump!

An absolutely blessed song from MMJ, I've been hearing a lot in recent times, such a fun song.

And that's all for this Blog update!

Thank you for reading!

See you next time traveler!

Have a nice day!

05/11/2023

Hi! Hello!

You'll have been waiting many nights to finally read this blog post.

Come, invite the newcomers to play, have fun, don't leave them all alone.

This is not the same song and play they have known since that day.

Let us not delay any further, and let us get in to the update!

WEBSITE UPDATES

For the website updates we got… nothing!

I have made no changes to the website aside from adding the Phoenix Club parts. Yea, 0 things!

But don't enter into despair just yet! I have been just resting a bit, I did a lot last month, I earned this!

The website will see some change this month however, expect some things that have been missing for a loooooooong time to be finally added! Pudding has made his goal this month to complete those tasks. Things such as, the missing dreams, Sakurako Shrine and adding some cool secrets!

Pudd starting her journey to find treasure!

Changing the topic to Phoenix Club, the side stories are still being thought of!

I'm still thinking about how the stories should be presented, and how they will play out in the series. But here's my current thought: These stories will be told while the current main story is happening.

Here's an example: in chapter 1, Seiko is spotted by Yuka (science teacher) while she is leaving her lab. The side story will take place after that encounter with Seiko, and it will delve into the history between her and her friendship with Oshare (the nurse).

I think this is a good approach, it makes the world feel alive, side characters get some characterization, and characters don't just exist to serve Seiko, they have their own life and stories. And who knows, maybe I can tease future story elements or/ and make Seiko's actions directly influence some of these side stories.

I want to post this story before the end of the year, so expect it in December!

Fan art by Miya, WLD is the game they have been working on.

Moving on to some other minor things about the website, Halloween will last until the 10th!

That little ghost will disappear on the 10th of this month, you won't be haunted any longer by her in due time!

I also made some fan art!

But first, the funny reason why this fan art exists. As you will see during the Life Updates segment, I recently finished my FNaF Journey, and wanted to do a little doodle in the theme of FNaF. But there was a problem, I thought it would be a little too cringy.

It was then that Miya sent me a image of their newest OC:

Newest OC from Miya.

She is a bear OC, and Miya basically pointed a gun to my head and asked for a doodle of her. It was then that both FNaF doodle and this fan art crossed and this was born:

"do I really need to wear this suit?"

Enjoy the new nightmares with that doodle!

And that concludes all the things about the website!

ONE-SHOT OF THE DAY

Bad Tripper

One-shot made by Yuu Odoriba.

Synopsis: Heidi, a convict, is tasked with discovering the secret behind the many disappearances of people that visited a particular lodge in an island. He must be discreet and not raise attention during his infiltration… that's what he was told anyway.

Art and presentation: Hmmmm… this art is good, I enjoy the artstyle and how the eyes of the characters are made to tell about them by just looking. The usage of shadow is also really good!

Why you should read it: Our protagonist is not one of righteousness, being a convict and all, so it's very interesting seeing how he sees the world and interacts with it as he moves through his mission. It's not often we see morally ambiguous protagonists.

Score: 3/5! Very good read.

LIFE UPDATES

Let's begin this segment with the smaller things and then move onto the huge part about FNaF.

The first topic is: Gacha Hell.

Both of the gacha games I have been stuck in are what I would like to call "Gacha Hell". It's basically trying to get a 5 star item you want/ need, but the game refuses to yield while the time to get is running out.

In Genshin Impact, I have spent all my rolls trying to get Wriothesley Weapon, but I'm still yet to see it after 65 rolls, plus I only have 3 days left to get it. The odds of not getting one are very high…

In Honkai: Star Rail, I spent my rolls (I had 105 saved up) to get the new character: Topaz. I did get her, I spent 70 rolls to get her, she appeared during this insane 10 rolls:

I won and lost at the same time!

After I got her, I went to her light cone banner and that's when Gacha Hell began…

I did get a 5 star light cone, the same path as Topaz, The Hunt… but it was not hers…

:Despair:

I had such a big smile when I saw the 5 star hunt icon show up before revealing the light cone…

After that blow, the odds of getting Topaz's light cone is very low considering I only have 10 days left.

Oh well, it's fine if I can't get them, my luck has been quite insane, a low moment was expected to happen at some point.

Now let's get to the real meat and bones of this segment, The conclusion of the Five Nights at Freddy's Journey!

Starting where we last left off: Pizzeria Simulator!

In this game, you play as freddy and you need to collect pizza and deliver them to children!

Simple, small and fun game for everyone at home! It's free on steam, you can also play this silly game for fre-

Yes, this game is not what it seems.

The reality is…

You're hired to manage the newly rebranded Freddy Fazbear Pizza! You have to build your pizzeria from scratch, buy attractions, animatronics, be careful with lawsuits and, of course, make money!

Play testing your attractions can give you extra to buy more things and expand further, but you can only do it 10 times per day.

After your dayshift, you have to reboot and manage all the equipment during the night at your office. It's no problem though! Nothing else is inside the pizzeria after all, and if you think there is, just turn off all sound and look in the vents! ;)

This is the most fun game of the franchise. The best one.

It's a difficult game to understand, but once you do get a grasp at the mechanics at play, it's so much fun! The tense gameplay during nights as you frantically try to do all your tasks to log off for the day, listening if they are close to you and scaring them off from the vents. It's all so good! The day part is also fun, there's a lot of mini-games you can play to earn money. I ended up playing the clown mini-game where you need to catch a bunch of children in a small circle to get a huge prize!

They move around a lot!

I was staring at this clown A LOT, and spent a lot of play tokens on it too. I wanted to get the highest score possible at the clown mini-game…

After minutes of staring at the clown, all the children lined up and… I got it!

I was screaming while everyone in the Discord call were silent (they left because I was staring at the clown for too long)

The ending of this game is also fantastic, the best ending in FNaF history, nothing comes close!

If you have free time, give this game a try, you won't regret it!

Next up is: Ultimate Custom Night!

This is the part where things began to fall apart for me…

This is your typical "defend the office" type of gameplay, but on crack!

You got 50 enemies you can toggle up to 20 difficulty, all of them with their own way of killing you or disrupting your gameplay!

This game has set challenges where you survive to 6 am with a preset cast. My goal was to beat these challenges…

It didn't happen, I gave up on this game, not because it's bad, but because it's simply too much for my tiny head to remember. I completed about half of the challenges though, that counts for something… right?

In summary, insane game, too much for my tiny head, still a great game!

A small glimpse of 50/20 mode

After that I played Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach!

And oh boy, this game has aged. Last year I recorded my thoughts playing this game on a blog post, but now those thoughts are completely gone! This game is not scary at ALL, sure it has some tense moments but just speeding through everything solves the problem. The game is not broken anymore and it works fine, but now it's just… a boring game…

That goes for the DLC Ruin as well, to a lesser extent. This is not a very replayable DLC, once you know all the scare, it just becomes a boring game about doing puzzles…

I finished Security Breach but gave up on Ruin midway through because I got bored.

This guy's section is still cool thought.

And now for the end of this journey, the Five Nights at Freddy's Movie!

I went to watch this movie on a rainy day during halloween. As I sat down waiting 20 minutes before the movie began, I reflected a bit on my journey up to this moment.

I thought of something fascinating, all these games, the reason for this franchise to exist… was about the criticism Scott Cawthon got from his previous game. We all know the story of how FNaF came to be, but the sequels also kind of follow that pattern of making games using criticism of the previous one.

This gave me a very unique outlook on the movie I was about to watch. This movie was going to be the story Scott wanted to tell, based on the things he learned through these 9 years.

After 9 years and this journey I went through, what did I think of the film?

It was a fantastic FNaF movie!

I'll give a semi-spoiler free review of it right now!

First the negatives, this film just doesn't work for someone that isn't acquainted with FNaF, if you're not a fan, this film won't convince you to be one.

Now for the positives, fantastic movie for a FNaF fan. This film tells its own story based on the game's story and man… the amount of references, cool parallels between the characters of the film with the characters in the games, the whole set and props looking so good. The animatronics look so freaking good in this film!

Whole ending sequence was such a delight to see on the big screen as well!

This is about memories, an attempt to correct past mistakes with those memories, the same theme that the game franchise also follows.

It felt so rewarding to watch this film after all this journey.

SONG OF THE DAY

You know there was no choice in songs I could make for this segment. There was only one option that would fit this exact blog post.

The song of the day is Five Nights at Freddy's by The Living Tombstone.

This song is the thing that brought my attention to this series 9 years ago, and hearing this song as the ending credits for this journey… I'll be honest, it made me kind of teary.

And that concludes the blog update!

Expect a slower month this time.

Thank you for reading!

See you next time traveler!

Have a nice day!
