Helo!

Time for the final blog update of the month!

It's going to be a fairly small one featuring: Phoenix Club, Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro, Team Fortress 2 and Super Mario Wonder!

Sounds like a big blog update, but it's really not. Those are pretty much all the topics that I want to discuss.

Without further ado, let's begin!

WEBSITE UPDATES

Phoenix Club Chapter 4 Is on the Website Right Now!

You can go read it by Clicking Here!

The series is finally taking steps forward now, after a long time it has been stuck on chapter 3!

As for information/ cut content related to this chapter, it actually doesn't have much. Most of the things I wanted to write about ended up in the chapter. In reality, the removed content of this chapter is now the added content!

… That doesn't make much sense so let me explain! Also, spoilers for those who haven’t read it yet!!!

Original vision for chapter 4 was to have the garden scene and chapter 5 to be just one, but I thought it would be a little tooooo big for just 1 chapter. So I split them up and added the little fun adventure to get to the Café to chapter 4! (Originally they would just be there from one scene to the next.)

Before moving on from this, I would like to talk about the name of the Café itself!

The name is L’esprit Espresso which has a couple of meanings related to souls and also the word “Express” was switched to Espresso which I thought was a nice play on words. Some original names were:

Soul’s Espresso Stop - Normal english title, but I wanted to be a little fancier!

L'arrêt Espresso des Âmes - Better name, but ended up being a little too long.

By the way, big thanks to Miya for helping me to come up with this name!

Anyways, here’s an unrelated drawing of Seiko I made!

I was done in a different style!

Oh yeah, talking about Miya, they did some cool fanart of the series! Check it out:

Fan art made by Miya, go follow their website!

And that’s everything related to Phoenix Club!

Before ending this segment, I want to talk about 2 Minor Things!

First is that the website finally now has an official Twitter account. I have my own grievances with that website, as many do, but I decided to make it anyway because… I don’t really know anymore… But hey, the account will be focused on announcing/ news, nothing more than that!

You can check out the account by Clicking Here!

Second, I’m still working on the Interloper page! Kinda… I’m almost done with one page, in the part of writing! 1 out of 4 pages… That’s progress right?

Busy-ish month wasn’t it? I ended up achieving the only goal I set out for this month, which was getting a new guestbook up running. Very happy about that!

And that’s pretty much it for this segment!

MANGA OF THE DAY

Hitsugi Katsugi no Kuro. Kaichuu Tabi no Wa

Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro

Manga made by Satoko Kiyuzuki.

Synopsis: This is the story of the black traveler “Kuro” and her snarky bat companion named Sen, traveling all around the world in search of something…? Wait, why does she carry a coffin on her back? What is she going to do with it??

Art and presentation: Genuinely, this manga has some of the best art I have seen for manga in this style. Just look at this page!

The top right was censored for spoiler reasons!

The artwork in this manga is fantastic, especially with the usage of white and black.

If you read the manga, you know those 2 colors are really important and I love how the author uses them to the fullest potential in some frightening and emotional scenes!

Why you should read it: The story is about traveling, meeting new people and never really staying for too long in one place, and in that, this manga is a master. We see and go to many places with Kuro’s group, we meet a bunch of different folks with many unique stories to tell, lessons they learned through their life experiences and their wishes/ dreams. This story really makes you feel like a traveler! But the manga is not just about Kuro’s travels, but about her group as well. While she continues to travel, we learn more about her own story and the darkness that she lives with… aaaaand I won't go any further than this to avoid spoilers!

It’s a really told story about traveling, that’s why you should read it!

Score: 4/5! It’s a fantastic manga, but I had to knock one point because it often goes deep into metaphors and beliefs that can make it hard to follow. Not saying it's bad mind you, just that it sometimes boggled my tiny brain!

LIFE UPDATES

Alright, I want to start this segment off continuing the topic mentioned above, but more Personal Thoughts About Shoulder-a-Coffin a Coffin Kuro!

As I mentioned already, this manga does a lot of great things that captivated me, but the thing that left the most lasting mark was the odd nostalgia I got when looking back on this series and how the story of Kuro developed as we went along.

Like, it felt oddly comforting when I thought back to a character we met previously, something that only a story like this could achieve. After all, a traveler is not supposed to stay in one place for too long, you will meet and talk with many people along the way, but you will have to leave them behind eventually to continue your journey… It’s bittersweet, an odd feeling I never really felt before, but it wasn't bad. Even if very little, a traveler does leave their mark on the people they meet, and that’s oddly comforting…

I don't know how to explain it properly, so instead let’s talk about the more tangible topic, Kuro’s story. I love how this was explained in the story and how everything is connected in one or another to the things that are happening to Kuro at present time. I don't want to delve into spoilers, so you will have to take my word for it… actually no, don’t take my word, GO READ IT YOURSELF NOW!

It’s great, you won’t regret it!

Silly little panel I like.

Now for something with the complete opposite tone: Team Fortress 2 Casual Rules!

I have expressed before how much TF2, so I don’t need to talk about it again here. Instead I’ll just show some of the fun moments I had playing by myself and with my friends!

We got in a lobby of CTF_Doublecross and basically converted half of the server into bat scouts that would swarm other players and taunt them after killing them. Here’s a clip my friend got from this:

I would like to also rank all the newly added community maps for the summer update in a list from my most fun to the least! This is very biased and does not have a very fair in terms of “Time spent” in each map, keep that in mind:

1. PD_Atom_Smash - A player destruction map, this is the normal version of PD_Monster_Bash! I’m really happy that this is in the game, Monster Bash is one of my favorite maps of the halloween pool, and that on the casual pool all year around is always a good thing! Player destruction is also a really fun game mode so win win!

(Couldn’t get the bots to work on this :()

2. CTF_Applejack - A Capture the Intelligence map that feels actually really fun to play! It’s one of the best CTF maps added in quite a while. I had a blast playing it!

3. CP_Burghausen - A multistage attack and defend map based on the medieval mode! I had a few matches on this map and it was pretty fun, medieval mode is always great chaotic fun. I am very happy that we finally got a new map with this game mode.

4. 5CP_Canaveral - Many people have problems with the 5 Control Points game mode, because of how stalematey it is, but these are not issues I really care about, so I enjoyed this map quite a bit! This map had a lot of flanks and ways to avoid the stalemates in my opinion. I had a particular game where my team was pushed to the last point, but after a really tight and difficult defense, we managed to push back agaisn’t the blue team and managed to push them to their spawn and win the match! That was pretty awesome.

5. CP_Hadal - A attack and defend map based on another map called CP_Steel, that is, the final point is always open to capture, but it’s very hard to do so since the point is very close to red, capturing the other points does help with this final point however. I quite liked this one too, altho it was a bit confusing the first time around, but after a match or figuring it out, it was pretty fun!

6. PL_Embargo - A payload map. I don’t have much to say about this one, it just felt a little clutter to me. The unique announcers for each team was cool, and the cart transforming to a truck was pretty creative as well.

7. PL_Odyssey - A payload map. This one too, it felt very strange and not at like a proper TF2 map. What didn’t help was the matches I had which were either complete stomps or we would get stuck attacking one point. The mapping transforming the final point into a control point was very unique though.

8. KOTH_Cachoeira - King of the Hill map that was fun, I like that you can be killed/ kill using the helicopter blades present on the map, that’s fun! Even has a custom death icon!!

9. CP_Overgrown - A regular attack and defend map. The only match I had on this map was a complete stomp against me, so we didn’t really get to the first point… So yeah, at least the map looks unique?

10. KOTH_Megaton - No. This is a King of the Snipers map, bad map, REALLY bad map. The sniper sightlines are horrendous and an engineer can easily lock down the point. What made it worse is that you have very little options to fight back, leading to stomps.

(This one my friends took over to 1v1.)

Here’s another fun screenshot we took while getting that one:

That’s the map list! Quite biased as I said previously.

And I think that covers everything I wanted to talk about for this TF2 part!

And now, for the final part of this blog update: Super Mario Wonder is a Wonderful Game!

This is pretty much the perfect modern 2D Mario game!

Mildly upset goomba.

This takes everything the “New” series of games established and throws it away for actual new and wacky things! From the very start, the game doesn't pull any punches with the wacky gimmicks and fun mechanics. From the wonder flowers that completely change a stage to the talk flowers that react to the environment just like the player, a stage never felt this good and fun to playthrough!!

Like, top down gameplay??

But the only flaw with this is that the bosses are not very creative, it's mostly just… Bowser junior again. They could've done so much with the whole wonder flower gimmick.

I really enjoy this final game of the journey, it's just the peak 2D Mario game fun that was severely lacking during the “New” series of games.

Sometimes felt so zoned out so many times when I played levels in “New” games, and in this game that just never happens. It 's incredible! It's wonderful, if you will.

Even King Boo makes a return!

And so we are at the final lap, the last game of this Journey is here and it's the most fun in a while for 2D Mario games!

Here's how the list looks right now:

Gold means beaten since last blog update.

Blue means currently playing.

Art made by Miya.

I also accomplished the only goal I set out to do this month which was to complete Odyssey! So that 's cool.

That’s all for this segment as well!

SONG OF THE DAY

The song choice wasn’t that hard to make this time around, I had two options to pick from Wonder: Underground and Dark Forest. These two were fantastic tracks, but which did I pick? Well…

The Song of the Day is Dark Forest from Super Mario Wonder! I picked this one over Underground for a very specific reason, it reminded me a lot of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and that’s my favorite Mario & Luigi game!

You can click here to see the playlist with all the songs recommended in this segment during this year!

And that concludes this not very tiny at all blog update!

See you next month!

Have a nice day Traveler!

15/07/2024

Helo!

The 15th is here and I have returned with a new blog update!

A lot has happened in the past 10 days, a loooooooot! And I plan to talk about all of it in this right now!

This update will cover: Phoenix Club Chapters 1,2 and 3, Interloper Page, Girls Band Cry, Mann Vs Machine and Super Mario Odyssey Finale!

Let us waste no more time and get right into it!

WEBSITE UPDATES

Alright, let's begin with the start of the show: Phoenix Club Chapter 1,2 and 3 Are Available to Read Right Now!

That's right! All of them are on the website! You can Click Here to read them!

I learned quite a bit from rewriting chapter 1 & 2 both from my editor's, rightfully deserved, mocking and laughing over my rookie mistakes and spelling errors, and from my own ideas and ways to tell a story. I believe this is very noticeable when reading the pilot and comparing it to the chapters, there's a clear and much appreciated standard in quality.

I still find it hard to believe I improved a lot since last year where I began my writing adventures. In fact, I won't believe it! I'm just gonna keep improving until there is nothing left to improve!

As for my thoughts on the chapters, I don't really have any. Most of the things I wanted are in the chapters, there's no scrapped or cut ideas worthy to talk about.

Chapter 4 is coming this week by the way! I already have the corrected script from my Editor and I'm gonna put it on the website and later make a post about it!

Talking about posts, I finally made the first ever post announcing chapters for this series!

Both here on Neocities and on Twitter!

Of course, the posts didn't get much traction, but that's not really the point of them. The posts are more for my own enjoyment than really advertising or announcing. + it's another excuse to commission my good friend Miya to make more Phoenix Club art!

Woah, I look so pretty in this post!

That covers all the Phoenix Club news for today!

Next up on the list is: WEBSITE INVADED BY THE UMBRELLA MAN (REAL) (NOT CLICKBAIT) (GONE WRONG!)!

I finally went through the idea of making a page fully dedicated to one of my favorite ARGs of all time, Interloper! You can Click Here to see the page.

This page will have a short introduction, my thoughts on the series, all the type 5 demos generated and some cool things about it… I still need to write all of those, BUT I have mostly finished the page's design. So much for a “writing break” eh?

The page's design is inspired by a program featured in the series called “DM Editor”, see the image below for comparison.

I'm no web designer, so I removed all the useless things to make my life less hellish!

I honestly had a lot of fun making this page and trying to mimic the editor as much as I possibly could. I can't wait to finish this page!

And now, to cap off this segment: Minor Updates All Over the Place!

I made tiny updates in many pages, mostly just improvements in the backend. But I did find a new guestbook hosting service, Atabook. The guestbook is alive again!

I also moved the writing page out of the “Misc” page, since writing is such a big part of my life as a whole.

This should cover all the noticeable changes!

That's everything for this segment!

LIFE UPDATES

Let's begin this segment with an anime that I liked a lot recently: Girls Band Cry!

What a fantastic and radical anime man. This anime takes the “Girls form a Band” anime genre and makes it into something amazing! It's so well written, voice acted, animated, composed… no, actually, it’s so well in everything*!

Anime made by Toei Animation.

Just go watch it NOW!

GO!

Don't worry about me, I'll patiently wait for you here.

Done?

Good, now let us gush about this anime together!

The animation and art style is simply phenomenal! I have never seen a CGI anime that is this fluid and looks this good at the sametime! One thing I loved a lot about it is that there’s a lot of subtle movements and it's never really “static” like regular 2D is, they really played into the 3D strengths. It almost feels like they chose 3D not for budget reasons, but as an artistic choice, which was such a bold and radical decision!

Another bold and radical decision they have done was with Nina's (The main lead) character! I have never, ever, EVER, in my life see such a grounded and realistic story about troubled past and parental problems. Episode 10 (my favorite episode) delves deep into these themes, and I never felt so related to an anime character before. Granted, my situation with my own parents is not as bad as Nina, but that episode really hit so close to home for me and I was left in shambles from crying by a few particular moments:

Rupa telling Nina to not run away because she might not have the chance to talk with them again;

Nina's connection to VOID and how it made her keep walking forward in life;

Nina's sister saying “Thank you for being alive.” really hit so deep…

What a fantastic character.

There's one more thing I want to praise before moving on to something I think this anime did wrong, and that is Rupa's story.

Rupa's story is quite a dark one to be told in an anime like this, so I like how they tackled this with such respect and tact.

She lost both of her parents during an accident, her entire family, but we never see that in the anime, and that's really good. I personally feel that showing such a tragedy would bring the anime down, because it's too depressing. Instead, she guides others to not make the same mistakes she made the day she lost her parents, and that's such a clever way to develop her character without showing her issues upfront.

Alright time for the * on everything. The only flaw of this anime is that it kinda just ends… very abruptly. It feels less like a conclusion and more like a setup for season 2, and I don't know how to feel about it.

Regardless, it doesn't really take away from the wonderful & refreshing character interactions, story, animation, soundtrack or emotional moments present in this anime.

It has become part of my list of “Best Animes of All Time”!

I hope we get a season 2 one day.

It's time to fight robots again in Mann Vs Machine!

A new Community MvM Event is currently taking place and I have been playing a lot of it in the past 10 days!

This one is a real breath of fresh air compared to the, honestly disastrous, last one we had!

This is what happens when you put a crocodile zone next to the spawn area.

The missions are actually fun, experts are not impossible, there is no server lag, some feature custom weapons (Like bouncy arrow huntsman and bouncy grenade launcher), the new maps are very interesting and there are even some custom boss fights!

There's even a giant Heavy riding a tank as a boss fight!

The big highlights of this campaign are the robot missions however. In these missions you play as the robots and you have to invade and take over the red team! They were honestly very fun and surprisingly very polished.

We are robots now!

This campaign is just a blast to play through, I'm currently 1 mission away from fully completing it! Potato.tf really outdid themselves with this one.

This was a funny close up for no reason.

ALERT ALERT

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

PUDDING HAS FINISHED SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY!

Yup! 100%* is finally done! It only took me a month and a total ~44 hours of playtime!

(*I did NOT grind coins to get 999 moons and all the costumes, that's way too much for me.”)

I know this secret moon!

Odyssey really is the magnum opus of Mario 3D game design and polish, it does everything right and it's just a joy to play!

See this? It 's really cool! The 3D bullet bills become 2D, it's awesome!!

The darker side of the moon was a pretty tough challenge, but after many attempts, and a few tips from Miya on how to skip a pipe section, I managed to come out victorious in the end!

This was a pretty cute message to give at the end too. Very much like Super Mario World and the Special World!

I don't know what's next for 3D Mario, but whatever it is, it's going to have a big shoe to fill after Odyssey!

The final 3 moons!

I have a few extra screenshots I couldn't find a way to implement into the text naturally… So here they are!

That Sphynx is my GOAT!

“Subtly” different Mario.

This really is the end of this journey…

Well, we are finally here, the last game of the list is next! Here's how the list looks right now:

Gold means beaten since last time.

Art made by Miya.

Now for something quite different: Video Spotlight Vol. 1!

This section is dedicated to wonderful, funny and interesting videos I have watched recently!

(By recently, I mean like, past 6 months.)

Yes, this section is just a disguised excuse for me to recommend videos to you, the reader. Anyways, here's the spotlights for today!

NeverKnowsBest’s video on the history of RPGs! Click Here to watch it!!

The western RPG market is not one I'm deeply invested in, but it was pretty interesting to learn the massive history behind it all!

Moon Channel’s video about Kawaii: Anime, Propaganda, and Soft Power Politics! Click Here to watch it!!

Moony discusses the history of Japan and how Kawaii culture came to be and dominated most of the world. It also has an important and realistic message/ warning at the end of the thesis, real interesting stuff!

The What Show’s video covering the Interloper Investigation! Click Here to watch it!!

This is not a substitute to watching the actual series in Anomidae’s channel, but it is a comprehensive and quite well edited breakdown of the entire series! I recommend watching this video after watching the Interloper series!

And the final video:

OrangE’s video about the actual history of EARLY Minecraft! Click Here to watch it!!

Just watch this video. It's hilarious, OrangE is always funny and he covers some actually interesting things I have never seen before in a Minecraft like this one!

And that's all the video recommendations for today! I do plan to bring this segment back again, but it will be a loooong time before I do so. Look forward to it!

And that's everything for Life Updates!

SONG OF THE DAY

I believe there is no better song to cap off this blog update than the one I picked.

The song of the day is VOID from TOGENASHITOGEARI!

You already know how much I like this song and the connection it has between Nina and Momoka. So instead I'm going to just praise again the usage of this song throughout the anime!

I especially love how it's used to keep Nina moving forward. From her early years of hating herself to the moment it transformed to VOID AND CATHARSIS, this song always pushed her forward to live and chase her dreams…

What a fantastic anime.

That's all for this blog update!

Quite the busy one wasn't it?

See you next time!

Have a nice day Traveler!

05/07/2024

Helo!

The doppelganger month named July has arrived! We are officially past the halfway mark for this year!!

I don't really have anything special to commemorate this… so yeah, let's just go to the blog update!

In this blog update you will see: Phoenix Club News, Team Fortress 2 Fun and more Mario Odyssey progress!

Let's begin right away!

WEBSITE UPDATES

There's only one topic for this segment, a MASSIVE topic to discuss: Phoenix Club Chapter 1 & 2 are now complete!

Now let me clarify somethings:

And that's all the points! I already sent the scripts for my editor to review and… edit them.

Actually, chapters 1, 2, 4 and 5 are all done and being edited as we speak! Shortly after this blog update, I'll begin to work on putting chapter 1 up, then 2, and then next week I'll put chapter 4 and the week after chapter 5! So yeah, this will be a content heavy Phoenix Club month!

I have become simple!

For some other plans I have…

I plan on commissioning Scrimblo for a colored panel for chapter 1 and a manga style one for chapter 2. First one colored, because it's the first chapter of this story!

I also plan on doing posts announcing when chapters are out here in Neocities and on Twitter! They will feature a unique artwork made by Miya, so look forward to them!

also plan to take a little break from writing during this month, so I can catch up on a few shows and series I had my eye on for a bit now. Next month I'll continue my writing content with Crashed Club - Days 51 to 75! Which will be a much more relaxed experience compared to the hectic couple of days I had.

Here's a sketch made by Miya for the Neocities & Twitter posts.

Here's a sketch made by Miya for the Neocities & Twitter posts.

Here's also a sprite made by them for… Well, I still don't know why they made this sprite but it's really cute!

Cute little fanart sprite of Chie!

And that's it for all the website changes!

For the website related changes I plan for this month, I'll focus on finding a new guestbook soon and that's about it!

LIFE UPDATES

We got just 2 topics here, starting off with: Team Fortress 2: Wave 2 Completed, But the Mission is Not Done Yet!

So, TF2 ey?

Probably my favorite first-person shooter of all time and it's not even a competition. TF2 had a very special place in heart ever since I decided to try it out as a kid. This game means a lot to me, in a world where every shooter is trying to be the next Esports, money making machine and successful live service, this game stands out for being actually fun to just play!

To not bloat the blog update too much, below you can read some of my thoughts on the current state of first-person shooters and TF2 as a whole.

Thoughts

I'm a casual player at heart, sure I can get better at a game if I try hard enough, but that's usually not what I look for from a game. Sweating in a game is fun once in a while, but when the game is just that the whole time... It tends to drive me away from the game. Stops being a fun game and turns into a frustrating experience. (I'm pointing the finger directly at Overwatch 2, yes.)

But here is this little gem of its era called Team Fortress 2.

A game where the objective is merely a suggestion.

A game where you're placed in a team but you can just ignore them and do your thing.

A game with a lot of mechanical depth for those who want to master a class.

A game that is just funny and incredibly fun to play.

The only game where I can duel someone in a lobby of 24 people, both of us miss all of our shots, stop to stare at each other while reloading, just say “Thanks!” and go our separate ways. Despite being 2 people from different teams, we found friendship by both being bad at the video game and forged a bond with the “Thanks!” voice line. This specific memory I have from this game pretty much sums up the experience of playing TF2, and it's also something forgotten nowadays. The days where PvP games were actually focused on fun, instead of endlessly grinding competitive ranks.

But this light in the darkness was fading, because of the corporation that owns the game: Valve.

TF2 for the past few years has been invaded by Bots who join casual servers, pick a sniper, one shot everyone from the lobby with aim hacks and kick everyone that is not a bot while spamming the most abhorrent things in text and voice chat. Meanwhile Valve did nothing to stop it. It was a very frustrating and depressing time to be a TF2 fan. A game like this will likely never be created again, it's one of a kind and it was being destroyed in real time…

Graphic from the Save.tf Website!

I love this game a lot, so I was completely behind the #FixTF2 movement ever since it was talked about. I have been following the movement since the start, doing my part by changing my review of the game to negative and signing the petition.

The movement had allowed peaks and valleys and even comedic moments…? But it managed to send the message to Valve:

“VALVE, FIX YOUR GOD DAMN GAME!”

After a month of pressure, Valve began banning Bots, Cheaters and Bot Hosters left and right! For the first time in years casual servers are bot free!

The mission is not done yet however!

DO NOT PRAISE VALVE FOR DOING THE BARE MINIMUM!

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH ANY MICROTRANSACTION UNTIL VALVE SHOWS THEY WILL SUPPORT THE GAME FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE!!

This is not the first time this happened.

As a community, we need to stay vigilant and judge only after seeing actual results this time around, not just a tweet.

Apologies for the huge blocks of text, but that was something I needed to get it out of my heart. I just really love this game and I don't want to see it die.

But before actually talking about the contents of the game, I have one more thing to talk about.

Bot Hosters and Cheaters have been boasting and proudly claiming ownership for this attack to TF2 for years. But when the ban wave began to happen, many of them started to cry, be angry and be in despair for losing thousands of dollars they spent on these bots, in just mere minutes. Quite the contrast compared to a month ago, where they were mocking us for pushing the #FixTF2 movement. The best part is, Valve is giving them the same kind of mercy they gave to us all this time:

Any appeals to remove a TF2 ban have been met with resounding “No.”

And it feels so good to see justice finally be delivered to these terrible people. I laughed at all of the posts about them crying, and you should too! These people don’t deserve your sympathy.

Okay, now for Actual TF2 Gaming!

Me and my friends have been playing TF2 pretty much ever since casual was bot free and we are having so much more fun! I, personally, have been practicing my skills with the huntsman primary weapon for sniper, the bow and arrow! I want to master it and be really good at it… Which may never happen, but hey, it's a very rewarding weapon!

It has been such a long time since I had this much in TF2.

There's no better time than now to play this wonderful game!

Can you guess this engineer's fate?

Now for some Super Mario Odyssey Progress Check!

I have beat the game! Finally I know, but I had a lot of fun getting to this point! The whole escape from the moon was just as fun as I remember back then when I played for the first time.

BOWSER TIME!

The ending was just as funny as I remember as well! I had a good laugh seeing Mario and Bowser depressed after being denied by Peach.

They truly are just goofy friends.

Such an amazing game, Nintendo really made a “Once in a Generation” Mario game with Odyssey. I wonder how they will top this!

Finally capping off this adventure!

But my job is not over yet! I still have to 100% the game and I am doing just that! I'm about 60% of the way done with the game, still yet to touch the post-endgame kingdoms. I did have a few troubles with some moons with my mouse and keyboard setup, but managed to overcome all the challenges eventually!

By bending the game to my will of course!

I also modded the game to have a specialized coin room to buy moons, but after being told the bulk moons in the store were just meaningless, I decided to buy cosmetics instead.

This room is very comical and not very effective for coin grinding…

And that's it for this segment!

As to what to expect this month for this segment, you can pretty much anticipate me talking about the shows I'm going to watch during my little writing break! And also finish Odyssey too!

SONG OF THE DAY

The song of the day is Break Free [Lead the Way] (or more commonly known as Honeylune Ridge: Escape, but I like this name better!) from Super Mario Odyssey! You know this was the only option for this segment today.

I've talked before about how music helps me remember and understand things in my life, and the moment this song played when I was finishing the game was another case of this. It made me remember the pure joy I had seeing Mario possess Bowser for the first time and the music right after the way out was clear… It kind of made me a little emotional not gonna lie. This journey started almost 5 months ago, and reaching this point made me a bit emotional + the memories from that sequence made me tear up a bit.

Electric Exits!

This game really is amazing!

That's everything for today!

See you next time!

Have a nice day Traveler!
