Helo!

Almost at the end of August! Can you believe it? I can, I saw the calendar today!

Anyways, today’s blog will feature: Purple Haze Feedback, Wonderful Precure, Kingdom Rush Frontiers and many other things!

Without any further delay, let’s begin!

WEBSITE UPDATES

First topic, and honestly only real topic, for this segment is: Interloper Page Progress!

The page is almost complete!

Everything writing related has been finished this week and is already up! I even had time to add a new “Menu” page that I have been thinking of doing recently and that turned out really great!

But it’s not quite finished just yet… there’s a few bells and whistles still to be added and a few writing inconsistencies that probably exist which I’m yet to find. Only after doing those things, I’ll deem it complete!

Oh, and yeah, I’ll try to make that page mobile friendly… keyword ‘try’. Wish me luck!

Also, thanks to Miya for some coding help with the new menu page! Make sure to check out their website!!

Wait, this feels kind of familiar…

And before we finish this segment, we have some Smaller Changes!

Changes such as updating the Bloons TD 6 random loadout generator to the game’s latest version, updating the game shelf page, adding 26 new images to the R.M.I.H. after 6 months of not touching it and a few misc page updates!

And that’s everything for this segment!

LIGHT NOVEL OF THE DAY

Hajishirazu no Purple Haze: JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken

Purple Haze Feedback

Light Novel made by Kouhei Kadono.

The first ever recommendation of a light novel in the blog update!

Being the first ever light novel in this segment, I have no clue on how to do it… so I guess I’ll just wing it!

First let’s get a synopsis of course.

Synopsis: Six months after the events of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Pannacotta Fugo finds himself in an empty stadium with an even tougher challenge to overcome: His guilt for staying behind that day…

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind!

Okay, so obviously, this book is a sequel to part 5 of Jojo’s, but it’s a very interesting sequel. This book takes place a few months after the main story where Giorno defeats Diavolo and becomes the “Gang-star”, taking over control of Passione. What I found fascinating was that this sequel was not about Giorno, instead it was about Fugo. He was a member of the main squad for the part, but due to his own fears and demons, decided to stay behind when the gang directly opposed Diavolo.

This book takes that moment which felt somewhat odd and explores it.

Really digs deep into the guilt that Fugo had that moment and it was… heart wrenching.

Of course, it’s not a book just about his feelings, he has to deal with them while questioning and completing a mission Passione has assigned him to do, to make sure he’s not a traitor to the organization. He was tasked with killing the old narcotics group and that makes for some cool and very engaging fight scenes. Most of these dig deeper in Fugo’s psyche as they force him to face some of his inner demons.

There’s also a good amount of fan service in this like character cameos and mentions, which is really fun! As big Jojo, I really appreciated these little moments!

The book is great and really well written, I would absolutely recommend it!

If you are a Jojo fan…

I can’t say this is a good book for anyone to read on their own. It’s heavily tied to the series and you would be confused and missing out on a lot without prior series knowledge.

But don’t worry, this fact won’t affect my score!

Which is:

Score: 5/5! Great book that I enjoyed reading a lot!

And that’s the first ever showcase of a light novel, I hope it was not too boring!

I plan on doing more of these in the future so stay tuned for next month’s Light Novel of the Day!

LIFE UPDATES

First we have: Catching up with Wonderful Precure! !

FInally, after putting the show off many months ago, I stockedpilled enough episodes to watch! For those of you who don’t know, I much prefer watching episodes back to back instead of waiting a week for a new one but I’m not against weekly episodes of course. It’s just a personal choice!

I have a few fun thoughts to share about it!

This show is just simply hilarious and fun! The anime just does an amazing job at making all these characters really likable and funny, example being Mayu and Yuki.

Mayu started off as your typical shy and social anxiety girl trope you come to expect, but as she develops, she learns to be a little more social and even becomes a really funny wing woman once she discovers Satoru has a crush.

Yuki being that all classy, high and mighty type of character that only cares about her things but turns out she actually has flaws and just tries to hide them for the sake of pride, which is REALLY funny when she has to get close to a snake but just CAN'T because of her animal fear.

The characters in this show just exude a lot of… character! I also really like Komugi! She's just the perfect energy for this show.

But I did have one complaint while watching it: There’s no real stakes in this story.

This wouldn’t be a problem normally, a funny slice of life show is always great, but from what I learned from Precure so far, they like to be more ambitious with the type of story to tell. So I was getting a little bit disappointed that there was no real threat in this show… Until last week.

We got perhaps one of the most ambitious episodes yet, the introduction of the villains for this anime! They are fierce and unlike the previous challenges, these ones might not be able to defeat with kindness alone. Their design looks really cool and they explore themes of extinction, hatred and revenge… which is quite the dark approach to lead when you realize the whole theme of the show is appreciating the animals we coexist with and the fact that this show is targeted at kids. Even one of our heroines questions if she was the bad person after this first interaction with the villains. If I was a little kid watching this, I would be a little unsettled and scared!

But I’m not a little kid (obviously!) and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next & what they are going to do for this second half!

(Of course I’ll stockpile episodes to watch all at one go when the time comes.)

Go wonderful team, go!

While the episodes are released, I direct my attention towards somewhere else. Per recommendation from a guestbook sign, the new Precure show I’m going to watch is Tropical-Rouge! Precure! I watched the first episode already and it was pretty fun!! Can’t wait to watch more!!!

Now time to talk about tower defense again:

Kingdom Rush Frontiers is PEAK!

This one is by far my favorite of all games, it everything a sequel should!

Epic start! Protect the kingdom!

All the mechanics have been expanded, enemies are more unique, expanded the hero mechanic by adding actual levels & abilities to upgrade and great stages! This game is peak Kingdom Rush!!!

As I said last time, I was using the mod that Lets you add an extra or more heroes but the mod had one single small flaw… in this game hero levels are permanent, but the extra hero does not keep their levels when leaving the stage due to either a bug or limitation, which is quite sad. Still had fun though!

Killing THE monster from the depths!

I also got a further appreciation for the more of the specialized towers such as the Tribal Axethrowers and Assassin's Guild, because of their abilities to make the enemy take more damage and their dodge & insta kill mechanics respectively. Oh yeah, I forgot to say which tower was my favorite last time! It was the dwarven Bombard and all their upgrades, and in Frontiers, it's a tie between them and Mages Guild!

Makes the halloween stages much more fun!

The only flaws in this game is that the game is shorter than the first game, has a pretty nasty fight boss and has one particular stage that is just the WORST in the series. But that doesn’t really matter, it didn't stop me from having a blast!

Victorious once more!

I did test a few of the new infinite stages, where they just throw enemies after enemies of increasing health and damage until you die. To counter this and to have some fun, I decided to give myself 3 of each hero (this excluded one hero that was a bit buggy when had multiple of him.) in the game to see how far I would go!

I ended up getting to wave 86 I think!

And that's everything I wanted to talk about this game, I absolutely recommend it, especially to you thinking of playing this series! Perfect game for newcomers!

Next up on this tiny journey is Kingdom Rush: Origins with duo heroes too!

Woooo, another cliffhanger!

Now time for the usual Miscellaneous Games!

Team Fortress 2 - Been playing this as you may expect, this game is just always fun! I decided to get my friends to play some MvM together and that was pretty fun!

EXPLOSION!

Bath House: One of my friends peer pressured me into playing one of those horror games you usually see VTubers play on stream… the game was pretty bad. It had some cool scares, but I see why only VTubers play these types of games…

The bath house is pretty spooky.

And that's everything for this segment!

I didn't have any goals set in the start of this month, sooooooo

Month completed!

SONG OF THE DAY

Let’s make this into a trend shall we?

The Song of the Day is Desert Battle II by HyperDuck SoundWorks!

This one was a tough choice between it and Rising Tides, but I decided to pick this purely because I liked the desert stages more!

You can click here to see the playlist with all the songs recommended in this segment during this year!

And that’s everything for this blog update and month!

Despite not being able to achieve absolutely everything, it was still a very productive and fun month!

See you next month!

Have a nice day Traveler!

15/08/2024

Helo!

Today we are going to have a fairly medium size update, with a lot of text!

This blog update will feature: Interloper, Five Nights at Freddy’s 10th Year Anniversary and Kingdom Rush.

And let’s begin right away!

WEBSITE UPDATES

Few things to go over with this one, first being: Interloper Pages Progress!

I have been diligently writing, thinking and researching for the last remaining pages! Yup, that’s what I have been doing the entire time, yes… Alright one of those 3 are not true, which is the writing part, but I have been thinking and researching about it!

I only began writing the “Cool Things” page this week, but it was fairly easy and pretty much completed in one day, because of all of my notes I had from watching and rewatching this series multiple times. I already started to put that writing on the website! But a new development in the ARG has put a slight wrench on my plans…

Interloper A released recently and I had to add and rewrite a few things, so that caused a little delay… Aside from the delay of being lazy. I’ll talk about my thoughts on the episode in the next segment if you are curious about it!

And now for some Minor Updates!

I added a few more games and updated their status on the game shelf page, made some pixel art after a long time not doing them and finally responded to all guestbook messages!

Thanks to everyone signing the guestbook, I appreciate all of your messages and recommendations!

And that’s everything related to the website!

Yup, everything!

What 's that? I forgot someone that I haven’t drawn in over a month? Nonsense, I have a perfect memory, I would never forget anything like that!

Moving o-

HEY, WHAT ABOUT ME!

LIFE UPDATES

Time for the bulk of this blog update!

First let’s go over the Five Nights at Freddy’s 10th Year Anniversary Content!

Yup, it’s me, the FNaF guy. The guy that played (almost) all the games before the film's release last year, that’s me! I’m now obligated to talk about this massive event…

Now, before we actually cover everything, I will admit that I don’t necessarily care about some of the announcements, for these, I just gave a passing mention and moved on. After all, it’s impossible to care/ like everything about a series as big as FNaF.

August 1st - Release of myPOPGOES - I don’t really care about the games of the fanverse, so I didn’t look for this one.

August 2nd - THE JOY OF CREATION demo - I did play this game when I did my FNaF Journey last year, but I didn’t play this demo, I would rather wait for the full game to come out. I saw a friend play it though and seemed good!

August 3rd - Free Interactive Novel: VIP -

Novel made by Scott Cawthon and Eugene Myers.

I actually read this novel! It was my first time reading a “choose your own adventure books” type of book and I enjoyed it quite a lot! The story was good, basically you have to save your little brother by scoring 1K points in VIP’s games. I saw that Scott wanted to expand this genre of books by adding a sort of inventory system and I thought it was a pretty novel idea. Of course, this has the requirement of writing things down and keeping track of routes, but fun it very much was!

I sent this to a friend and they said I write like Slenderman… I don’t know how to feel about it.

As to what all this means and how it ties to the FNaf lore… I’m not smart/ insane enough to figure that out, so good luck to all the others that will! But I absolutely recommend you read this novel, it’s fun and free!

August 4th - Scott Cawthon interview with Dawko 2.0 - I saw this interview and it was uh… Pretty insightful to say the least.

Okay so like, I’ll talk about 2 topics brought up on the interview:

Lessons from FNaF: Security Breach - We finally learned why Security Breach’s story ended the way it did, it was because Scott was very cryptic with Steel Wool...? Well, basically, he would say to put certain details in specific places/ nudge the needle in one direction but never explain the full story to the studio… because he wanted Steel Wool to figure out the story just like the fans. Now, if you are sane of mind, you may realize a problem with this.

The problem being that Steel Wool IS MAKING THE FREAKING GAME, THEY NEED TO KNOW THE FULL STORY!

I was completely baffled when I heard Scott talk about this, NOT IN A MILLION YEARS, this would EVER be a good idea to do with the company DEVELOPING your game. At least now he learned that lesson and is working hard to course correct the story from this mess.

FNaF 4 Box - Basically confirmed my suspicion, the contents of that box did change after the Sister Location and are no longer relevant/ make sense. That’s why he never revealed what’s inside of it.

And that’s everything I wanted to talk about in this interview, there’s a lot more fun and interesting things for you to check out! I must applaud Scott for being so open and talkative for the interview, we genuinely learned a lot of cool behind the scenes things and Scott’s personal feelings about it! No corporate responses here, the interview was very human and that’s great!

August 5th - Dead by Daylight collab - I thought it was going to be a Fortnite collab but this one also works! I don't play DbD but I’m happy for everyone that has been asking for this, let’s hope the killer is Springtrap.

August 6th - Secret of the Mimic announcement - The announcement was pretty cool until I saw the word “Mimic” at the end and the words “Earliest game in the timeline”, now I’m dreading the nightmare this game might cause. But I’ll have an open mind about it, if it’s good.

August 7th - Five Laps at Freddy’s demo - I didn’t play myself, but it seemed pretty fun from what I saw my friend playing. Polish that game up, fix bugs, add online, more courses and characters, and you have a solid game!

And now for the main attraction for the anniversary: Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit!

I bought and played this game and it was amazing! One of, if not THE best FNaF game ever released.

THIS LOOKS ACTUALLY SCARY!

This game is a 2D stealth game based on the book story of the same name and can we just appreciate how freaking amazing the pixel art work in this game looks?

I MEAN, LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF DETAIL AND POLISH IN THIS SCREENSHOT:

One of the best looking pixel art games I have seen.

The game is also super fun to play and scary to experience. I had a lot of genuine scares and unsettling moments playing this game, something that doesn't really happen that much to me in FNaF games.

I was super scared when this first came around.

I'm not gonna go into much depth about the game, but I do have a small complaint.

The last collectible for the “good” ending was a little too well hidden…

Anyhow, I want you to experience this for yourself! I'm singing this game's praises for a reason! Go play it if you can, NOW!

THE LITTLE ONES CAME BACK NOOOO-

And that should cover everything related to anniversary content, overall it was pretty good and I enjoyed it! Hope the next years of this franchise are filled with good games!

Happy 10 year anniversary Five Nights at Freddy’s!

And now, time to go from one game I really like to another I really like: Kingdom Rush Journey!

That’s right, I’m already starting a new journey! This is a much smaller one though, only 5 games.

A new game released in this franchise I love so much, so I decided to replay every game in the franchise (and 100% them.) to then play the new game! That and also because it has been a very long time since I replayed all these games.

However, I decided to add a little twist in this journey! Since I know all the destinations and paths for this one, I decided to take the unconventional to go through it!

The whole gimmick of the newest game is that you can use 2 heroes instead of one, so I decided to add that to the first 3 games of the franchise as well!

(Heroes are special units you can move around the map, they have levels and special abilities unique to them!)

The power of 2 heroes!

Starting off with Kingdom Rush, I had to download a “Hardmode” mod that added an extra difficulty and tweaked a few stages very subtly (there are some extra cases…) to make them hard, just so the 2 heroes mod would work. This was not necessary for the 2 other games for some reason… This mod also adds an extra difficulty option, but I decided to pick the difficulty below that one. I want to have fun playing the game and not optimize all my actions every round.

Actually, small tangent, people should STOP HOSTING MODS ON THEIR DISCORD SERVERS! I’m tired of going through verification processes and dead links just to download a mod…

Anyways, back to the game at hand.

This is genuinely one of the best tower defense games out there!

This game has a hero system and tower you can specialize after they are level 3, giving them special abilities and extra firepower!

Fantastic OST, amazingly drawn graphics and some of the BEST and WORST stage and enemy design of any tower defense!

This is just a fun tower defense to play, even if it lacks a little tower variety by the end of adventure.

Magic power in double!

Alright, let me address the elephant in the room, what do I mean by best and worst design.

It has some of the best in the stages and enemies on the undead campaign, where you are swarmed by zombies and skeletons. But these enemies are pretty easy to deal with since they are slow and are very weak against explosive damage. Enemies have clear weaknesses and strengths and the stages are built for you to do with them.

(The mod one of the stages from this campaign is a little too hard by overwhelming the player with RAT MEN, an enemy with resistances that can easily take out your troops. But that’s not the fault of the game, it’s a mod fault!)

RUN, THE RAT MEN HAVE INVADED!

Now on the other side of this coin we have the demon campaign, which the main gimmick on this one is that enemies explode on death!

Annoying gimmick but it’s mostly good because the enemies have clear strengths (low hp units die to them.) and weaknesses (they are very fragile.)... That’s the case until they introduce a new demon enemy that has the ability to duplicate themselves!

Okay, that’s fine, explosion on death and duplication are annoying, but nothing impossible to deal with… but then you see that the enemy is also tanky and has resistance to all the AOE options in the game… Now we have a huge, very unfun problem. What makes it worse is that these enemy resistances are the complete opposite to all the other enemies on the stage, so you have to use towers that are not optimal AT ALL on that stage just to deal with them, that is, if they even manage to deal with them.

The demon campaign led to a lot of frustration, so much that I just decided to cheat and give myself triple starting cash. Yup, I wasn’t having fun so I decided to add what I was missing, and even then, it was still annoying to deal with this enemy…

Anyways, this mod also adds some extra levels that are mostly hardcore levels, which I decided to not do 100% of them. But there was one that was a pretty cool crossover:

Genuinely cool crossover with the next game in the franchise!

If you want to get into tower defense/ love this type of genre, play this game! Despite my grievances with the demon campaign, that whole thing is like, 10% of the game, the other 90% is filled with awesome and lots of fun Tower Defense action!

Just look at this, that knight looks so cool and sad…

I did complete this game 100% (Excluding the modded levels) and I can’t wait to see how the other games will be with an extra hero to choose from!

I wonder what this cliffhanger is… (I played all the games multiple times, so I know already!)

And now to finish off this segment, Some Variety Things!

Interloper A - This episode was quite literally groundbreaking for this series.

Like, all the demos have hidden data inside them with creepy and scary animations? And you can only see them by rebuilding cubemaps in both the demo and the projectskybox mod WHILE the Sky Ghost is going crazy??

IT 'S INSANITY!

That ending was also crazy, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Bloons TD 6 - The new update with the new tower called Mermonkey is pretty cool. I like that it brings a lot of new mechanics and synergies to the game without being too complex to use!

Been enjoying my time playing and testing out bugs in this new update with friends.

WE WILL FLOOD THE SKIES WITH BONES!

Honkai: Star Rail - I spent all my tickets and lost my 50/50, now I have a Gepard… Which is a sustain, but not the one I wanted… Oh well, at least now I have a guaranteed chance to get a limited 5 star character and light cone. So I must pick very wisely on what to spend my rolls… Probably an E1 for Topaz and her light cone, if her rerun is not too far away.

Gepard moment.

And that’s everything for this segment!

SONG OF THE DAY

Kingdom Rush has fantastic OST, so I decided to pick one for this blog update!

The song of the day is Wasteland Battle by Jose Antonini! This song was banger many years ago and still is to this day!

And that’s the end of this blog update!

See you next time!

Have a nice day traveler!

05/08/2024

Helo!

August is here, my unofficial halfway mark of the year! I call it that mostly because of school, it was my “you got halfway without major pitfalls, keep going!” point.

We got a medium sized blog update today featuring: Phoenix Club, Mario Journey End, Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 content and a few progress reports/ misc stuff!

Let's begin right away!

WEBSITE UPDATES

Starting off with the final chapter from this batch I worked on: Chapter 5 For Phoenix Club Is Out Now!

And you can read it right now by clicking here:

It was pretty fun learning a bit of basic stuff related to barista work for this chapter, even if most of that stuff didn't really make the cut in the end…

This chapter changed quite a lot from my original idea actually, mostly because of the decision of making the Café a hangout spot for the group. My original idea was for the Café to be just a transition piece, the club would just go there once and leave, making the actual “formation” of the Phoenix Club happen MUCH later on. But as you see now, I decided to push the formation all the way forward…

I thought it would be more fun this way!

Alright let me explain, I thought it would be much more interesting if the Club had a specific place to stay that is a bit more interesting than the garden. It also expands the amount of stories/ wacky things I can think of! It also felt a little wrong for a group of students to stay in the garden for prolonged amounts of time everyday just doing silly daily things… But don't worry, the Café may or may not be just a temporary place for the club! What's that, which one is true? You will have to find out by reading hehe… Or guess waiting…

As I said before, this chapter is the last one from the batch. I will resume work on Phoenix Club sometime in the future, just so I have more time to think and flesh out some of the ideas circling around my head.

This is just like Phoenix Quest!

But it's not all doom and gloom because panels for Chapter 1 & 2 are being worked on at this very moment! Scrimblo got back to me with some mock-ups of how the panels will look, after deciphering my unhinged ramblings and nonsensical ideas. Check it out:

Chapter 1 Mock-up

Chapter 2 Mock-up, this one is slightly outdated, but I wanted to show because it's cute!

Please make sure to check out Scrimblo’s website and commission them! They make wonderful art!!!

Fun fact! Did you know that those models are Neptune from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series? You can now go around claiming that Neptune from that series was once/ twice/ thrice used as placeholders for Phoenix Club characters!

I also have a little cute sketch made by Miya:

Tiny, Little, Baby-sized Chie!

And that's everything related to Phoenix Club for now!

Again, the story will enter a little hiatus for me to gather my ideas and make them better, so look forward to the future!

And now for the last topic in this segment: Interloper Page Progress Check!

I'm currently done with 2 pages out of the promised 4! I just put up the pages for the short introduction, which I had mostly written before last blog update, and the type 5 demos pages!

The type 5 was and probably will be the most time consuming one, gathering all the demos from the series and playing some of them on my own computer took a long time. But hey, I do like how it ended up overall! I even included some lesser talked about demos/ details about a few of them.

The next 2 pages should be easier to make, since they are mostly writing and less about video recordings. You can expect them to be mostly done by the time for the next blog update!

Or at least 1 one of them to be done, it all depends on my energy.

And that's everything for this segment!

As for what to expect for this month…

Expect the Interloper to be finished and maybe some Crashed Club progress! That's right, I didn't forget about that project!

LIFE UPDATES

Let's begin with THE END: Mario Journey Has Finished

I have finished Super Mario Wonder and what a wonderfull time this game is! Well worth the wait since the last 2D Mario release!

The later stages of the volcano area and the bowser stages were a joy to go through, even if I missed the talking flowers on the final world…

But hey, metal Mario returns!

This game just does almost everything right, so creative and engaging! Dare I say, one of the best Mario games of all time? The only thing I wished this game was more creative on was the boss fights, like come on, you got all these wonder powers but you choose Bowser Jr again? Little sad but that's okay, the final boss was awesome!

This was genuinely cool!

I did try the final and final final tests, but ended up giving up on the later because it was a little too much pain for me… That’s what I would say if Miya didn't pushed me to do it… and what a hard level that was. Forces you to use all the gameplay changing effect badges in a sequence of hard platforming with very little checkpoints, basically Kaizo wonder. But I managed to triumph after a total of 2 hours of trying!

Yes, I'm a super wonder player. Correct!

And so we arrive at the present day, the journey has reached its end. After almost 6 months, we are at the end of Mario Journey… Don't believe me? See the list yourself:

It 's complete!

So, let's have some time to think about the entire thing. This journey had a few low points, but there were WAY more high points! I ended up finding new favorite games and some… not so favorite games, Reminded of good memories of the past and also created new ones, but most importantly, it was a lot of fun going through this historical list of games. Very in line with Nintendo's philosophy of making games: Just Make Fun Games. Something most companies forget nowadays…

If you have time and interest, I would highly recommend for you to play through all these games, not just because they are important to gaming history, but because they are super enjoyable!

Of course, how could I end such a wonderful journey without putting all these games in a tier list and creating fires of anger? To be honest, this tier list is on the tamer side, but I think it probably makes some people upset.

The tier list is based on my enjoyment of each game and you can see it here: Click Me!

And that's it, time to say goodbye to this journey and finally rest so that one day, I can continue to travel in a different direction.

Farewell Mario Journey!

The End

Now it's time for the second feature of this segment: Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 Content!

But before I talk about the 2.4 content, let me first update you about my thoughts on the Divergent Universe game mode!

I ended up feeling a little mixed on this one. It does a lot of great and fun things, but it's heavily reliant on RNG, which on higher difficulties, feels really bad… Unless you have Firefly. A good amount of blessings were changed to fit break teams, but the issue is that most break teams without a premium 5 star can't implant a weakness, so they fall REALLY behind from not taking advantage of such a break heavy game mode.

It's a fun game, but just unfun on higher difficulties.

The weekly challenges and planar farming methods are WAY better though, I absolutely love those!

Alright, time for the actual content of 2.4! Starting of with (Don't worry, I'll avoid major spoilers!):

Main Story - Amazing, at least 10x better as the previous continuance missions! The story is well paced, engaging and actually fun to see! We have stakes with the new villain that is actually just evil and we have many gears moving in the background that don't feel confusing to understand. The only issue I have with them is the same as last time, some of the cutscenes end way too abruptly! Please give some time for them to linger, don't just hard cut to gameplay!

Somehow they always manage to make prisons look cool.

Gameplay & Events: I LOVE the new March tamagotchi-like event, it's so much fun to do and the story is so funny! I'm still building Hunt March, but I can't wait to test her with my Xueyi! … After I built her too…

Gambling: I do have a plan for this patch! The 2 characters in this patch and the next don't really interest me pull wise, but I do have my eyes on the Huohuo rerun for my DoT team. I plan to save all my passes to spend all at once on her banner on the last day possible! I'm currently at 33 pulls, let's see how high this can go!

And lastly, something a bit silly.

I have been really sad somewhat recently that my Luka doesn't see much action anymore, so I decided to change that to make him a break DPS!

After a month or so of grinding, I finally managed to get a very powerful set for him and a great team to add the extra flavor!

I can finally achieve funny numbers with one of my favorite characters in the game:

1 Lukilion Damage!

Here's the team and stats in case you are wondering:

Team and stats!

And that's everything I wanted to talk about Honkai: Star Rail!

And now to finish off this segment, Some Miscellaneous Games I Have Been Playing That I Didn't Have Enough to Make a Full Part!

Team Fortress 2 - Been playing mostly casual with my friends during late nights, some classic post midnight CTF gaming!

We also played on a 100 player server for the first time which was madness!

Genshin Impact - I did explore the new temporary region and that was pretty fun, just like last year's one. I also got Navia's weapon and a constellation for her.

This is the last patch before we move on from Fontaine, so I just wanted to thank the devs for making such a fun and wonderful cast of characters and region!

Goodbye region waters, may we visit it again sometime later.

Farewell Fontaine.

Bloons TD 6 - The new tower added is very op and a lot of fun! It brings a lot to the table in terms of mechanics and power, while not being complex on how they work! Literally perfection, unlike Beast Handler who was very flawed at launch. Been enjoying it a lot!

Axis of Mermonkey

And that's everything I wanted to talk about for this segment!

In terms of what to expect for this one… Who knows, with the Mario Journey over, I don't really have any “set in stone” plans. So I'll leave it as a surprise for me and for you!

SONG OF THE DAY

Song of the day is Lost and Found, to be more specific, the Leo/Need cover of it!

I did enjoy the original version of this song, but I much prefer the Leo/need, it's just a perfect song for that group. I have been listening to it on loop for the past 2 weeks, it's that good!

And that's everything for this blog update!

I hope August is a very fun month and a fast one, because July did feel a little too long… But I also don't want it to be too fast so I can have time… What a conundrum.

Anyways, see you next time!

Have a nice day traveler!
